Abstract

A molded article having both of sufficient strength and peel resistance, especially a heat insulating material for a high temperature furnace, is provided. A carbon fiber-containing stacked molded articlecomprises a substratecomposed of first carbon fibers piled, and a woven fabric layerlocated on at least one surface of the substrate, and composed of carbon fiber spun yarnsincluding second carbon fibershaving an average fiber diameter of 12 μm or less, and third carbon fibershaving an average fiber diameter in excess of 12 μm.
