Abstract

A device for transmission and/or generation of torque having a driveshaft and having a driven shaft acted upon by field-excited forces of a magnetorheological medium, the driveshaft terminates in a flange in a housing, at least one cylinder is arranged on the flange (), and the cylinder extends over the driven shaft coaxially while forming a gap which is filled with the magnetorheological medium.
