Abstract

In a vehicle control apparatus which performs a remote operation of a vehicle using a remote control, a remote operation of the vehicle which is not intended by a driver is prevented. When traveling control of a vehicle is performed through a remote operation from a remote control, a stop position of a vehicleis set by a stop position setting device, and a movement course of the vehicleis calculated by the vehicle course calculation device. In addition, the vehicleis moved along the calculated movement course in response to a driving operation from the remote control, but if a driving operation from inside of the vehicle and a driving operation from the remote controlcome into conflict, the driving operation from the remote controlis canceled, and the driving operation from inside of the vehicle is prioritized.
