Abstract
There is provided a microparticle/polyrotaxane-containing coating with high abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. There are also provided a microparticle/polyrotaxane-containing coating film and a coated article. The microparticle/polyrotaxane-containing coating includes a solvent-based coating material, a modified polyrotaxane having a caprolactone modification group (—CO(CH)OH) and microparticles having an average particle size of smaller than 380 nm. The microparticle/polyrotaxane-containing coating film is in the form of a layer of the microparticle/polyrotaxane-containing coating on an article to be coated. The coated article includes the microparticle/polyrotaxane-containing coating film and an article to be coated.
