Abstract

The present invention relates to the novelsp. strain, and the novel protein isolated from the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to the novelsp. strain producing xylanase, and the novel xylanase having high activity at high temperature and in a wide range of pH, and a production method of the same. Thesp. HPL-3 strain (KCTC11987BP) and the xylanase of the present invention demonstrates high activity at high temperature or in a wide range of pH to decompose xylan, the major component of various lignocellulosic biomass, so that they can be effectively used for the production or development of bio-fuel, alternative material, performance chemical, bio-polymer, food and feeds, etc.
