Abstract
A motorcycle frame assembly (FR) for a motorcycle includes a main frame (), which extends from above a combustion engine (E) in a direction rearwardly, and a subframe () having front and rear end portions connected with the main frame () and also having an intermediate portion positioned laterally outside of a cylinder block () of the combustion engine (E). The combustion engine (E) is fixed to a motorcycle frame assembly (FR) by means of first, second and third engine mounting areas (M, M, M). The first engine mounting area (M) is provided in the intermediate portion of the subframe () and, also, a damping unit () for suppressing vibrations of a to-be-damped region () is provided in the to-be-damped region () provided at a location remote from the first engine mounting area (M) in the subframe ().
