Abstract
An antivibration device () has a vehicle body-side fixing member () adapted to be fixed to a vehicle body. A shaft () extends to couple between a pair of sidewalls () of the vehicle body-side fixing member (). An engine-side fixing member () is adapted to be fixed to an engine and is provided between the sidewalls () to surround around the shaft (). An elastomer stopper () is provided integrally on an inner surface of the engine-side fixing member () to define an annular stopper surface () that surrounds the shaft () while leaving a given gap therebetween. An elastomer mount body () couples a base () of the vehicle body-side fixing member () and the engine-side fixing member () together. The antivibration device () adequately absorbs a vibrational load applied from the engine in various directions, while ensuring compactness.
