Abstract

In the case where a constraint condition related to an internal combustion engine is satisfied when a control amount of each of the control objectsis controlled in accordance with the operation amount determined based on initial target values TPcom and TRegr of respective control objects of an internal combustion engine, the control amount of each of the control objects is controlled in accordance with the operation amount determined based on the initial target values. In the case where the constraint condition is not satisfied, the initial target values are repeatedly corrected in accordance with a predetermined rule so as to satisfy the constraint condition, and the control amount of each of the control objects is controlled in accordance with the operation amount determined based on the corrected initial target values.
