Abstract

A GNSS receiver includes: a first correlation peak detecting unit () that detects a peak of a correlation value between a positioning signal and a C/A code replica signal; a second correlation peak detecting unit () that detects a peak of the correlation value through a multipath error reduction technique; a signal intensity detecting unit () that detects a signal intensity of the positioning signal; a switching unit () that inputs the positioning signal to the second correlation peak detecting unit () when the signal intensity is higher than or equal to a threshold, and inputs the positioning signal to the first correlation peak detecting unit () when the signal intensity is lower than the threshold; a pseudo-range calculation unit () that calculates a pseudo-range based on the detected correlation peak; and a positioning calculation unit () that calculates a location of the GNSS receiver based on the pseudo-range.
