Abstract

A small reactor capable of appropriately measuring the temperature of a coil is provided. The reactor includes a coilincluding a pair of coil elementsandand a magnetic core including a pair of inner core portionsdisposed in the respective coil elementsandand outer core portions that connect the inner core portionsto form a closed magnetic circuit. Each of the coil elementsandhas an end face shape having a rounded corner portion, which is a corner portion of a rectangle that is rounded. A temperature sensoris disposed in a trapezoidal space between the rounded corner portionsof the coil elementsandthat face each other. The temperature sensoris pressed so as to contact the rounded corner portionsby the sensor holder portionprovided on an insulator, and is capable of appropriately measuring the temperature of the coil. When the temperature sensoris disposed in a region in which the inner core portionsare not disposed in the respective coil elementsand, the coil elementsandcan be positioned near each other and the size of the reactor can be reduced.
