Abstract
PET resins containing a small amount of a blue dye and/or further containing inorganic particles of FeOor BaSOare synthesized in the presence of an inorganic Ti—Mg catalyst employed as a polycondensation catalyst and a phosphorus stabilizer during a polycondensation process, and the resultant PET resins are free of yellowish appearance and reduced regenerated acetaldehyde and cyclic oligomers after processed so that PET bottle preforms if made of the PET resins can facilitate reduction in aging time thereby to improve the product yield of the bottle preforms and to save the stock space for storing the bottle preforms.
