Abstract

A quick connector assembly () includes a coupling housing () having a fluid quick connector () disposed about an end () and a sensor quick connector () axially aligned with an auxiliary axis (A). A sensor housing () is insertable along the auxiliary axis (A) to couple a sensor with the coupling housing (). The sensor quick connector () includes at least one leg () and the sensor housing () includes a locking barb () extending radially outwardly to flex the leg () during axial movement of the sensor housing (). The leg () includes a mechanical stop () and the locking barb () includes a shoulder () for engaging the mechanical stop () to establish an interlocked position of the housings () and prevent rotational movement of the sensor housing () about the auxiliary axis (A).
