Abstract
A supply device () for a machine for transversely cutting two strips (and) of a flexible material, in particular a strip of paper, moving continuously, to produce separate stacks of documents cut transversely according to predetermined formats. The device comprises lower and upper driving mechanisms () associated with the two strips () of flexible material respectively, which each include a mechanically rotated first roller () and a freely rotatable second bearing roller (and). The driving mechanism is mounted on a frame () supported by a movable platform () which is rigidly connected to a linear actuator () arranged to be moved transversely with respect to the direction of movement of the strips (and). Optical reading cells () define the operating modes of the driving servomotors (and) and of the linear actuator ().
