Abstract

An oxygen cell capable of minimizing overvoltage increases is provided. An oxygen cellcomprises a positive electrodethat uses oxygen as an active material, a negative electrodethat uses metallic lithium as an active material, and an electrolyte layersandwiched between the positive electrodeand the negative electrode, wherein the positive electrodecontains a lithium compound.
