Abstract

The tank is of the type including a container () for housing hydrogen, and metallic hydride placed inside the container. According to one aspect of the invention, it includes at least one solid body () formed of a compacted material including metallic hydride and a matrix. Application in particular for tanks for internal combustion engines or for fuel cells, in particular for motor vehicles, as well as for any stationary or mobile application using hydrogen.
