Abstract
An information acquisition deviceincludes a data acquisition unitacquiring measurement data from an external measuring device; a code reading unitreading a code to acquire the information represented by the code; and a data processing unitthat associates the information acquired by the code reading unitwith the measurement data acquired by the data acquisition unit. Medical measuring devices used to measure patient status can be suggested as the measuring device. In such a case, for example, codes representing identifiers that identify patients can be used as the code.
