Abstract

Provided is a zoom lens, including, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens unit having a positive refractive power which does not move; a second lens unit having a negative refractive power which moves during zooming and focusing; a third lens unit having the negative refractive power which moves during zooming; a fourth lens unit having one of the negative refractive power and the positive refractive power; and a fifth lens unit having the positive refractive power, in which a lateral magnification (β) of the second lens unit at a wide angle end when an object distance is infinity, and a ratio of a focal length (f) of the second lens unit and a focal length (f) of the third lens unit are appropriately set.
