Abstract
A monitor of a TV includes a control circuit which functions as a charge control section for controlling charging of a battery unit. The monitor has: a charge mode 'mode' in which main charging of the battery unit with use of electric power supplied from the AC adapter is carried out in a case where the electric power is supplied from the AC adapter; and a charge mode 'mode' in which the main charging of the battery unit with use of the electric power supplied from the AC adapter is not carried out even in the case where the electric power is supplied from the AC adapter.
