Abstract

LED luminaire, particularly LED headlight, comprising an active light source () composed of a plurality of LEDs (-) that have the same color or different colors and are arranged on a flat or curved surface () or circuit board and an optical system comprising a collimation optics unit (), the individual lenses of which are arranged in a small distance above the emission surfaces of the LEDs (-) and which collects and focuses the light (L-L) emitted by the LEDs and directed onto a surface, a mixing optical unit (), which receives the light (K, K, E) that has been directed onto a surface and focussed and mixes it in terms of the color and/or brightness, and a field optics unit () which receives the light (M, Mor N, N) emitted by the mixing optics unit () and emits it with pre-determined light distribution (F-F) to the far field.
