Abstract
A camshaft adjuster () having a locking cover () formed of sheet metal, wherein the locking cover () has a substantially disc-shaped base surface () and has a collar (), which extends in an axial direction () and which runs at least partially around the base surface (), for receiving a spring cover (). As a result of the production of the locking cover () from sheet metal in combination with a turned-up collar (), the locking cover () can be produced simply and cost-effectively and nevertheless offers adequately high strength despite the low material thickness.
