Abstract
Disclosed is a phase change ink comprising a phase change ink carrier and a colorant compound of the formula wherein X, X, and Xeach, independently of the others, is —O—, —S—, —SO—, or —SO—; R, R, and Reach, independently of the others, is alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein; and Z is halogen, —OR, wherein Ris alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein, wherein Ris alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein, or wherein Ris alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl as further defined herein.
