Abstract

A droplet generator () having a bubble purging fluidic architecture comprises a firing chamber (); an inlet () fluidically connecting the firing chamber () to a fluid reservoir (); and an outlet () configured to pass fluid droplets being ejected from the firing chamber (). The geometry of the outlet () and the geometry of the inlet () are configured such that the outlet () geometry has a substantially lower barrier to expansion or motion of a bubble () than the inlet () geometry.
