Abstract

Provided is a gas tank wherein the pressure of gas filled in the tank hardly increases. A hydrogen tank () includes: a container main-body () into which hydrogen is filled; a first thermal-foam heat insulation layer () provided on the outer surface () of the container main-body (); a belt fitting region () virtually provided at a portion of the outer surface () of the container main-body (); a belt (), wherein the back surface () being a part of the surfaces of the belt () is in contact with the belt fitting region (), and wherein the belt () is fixed to a vehicle body () so that the container main-body () is fixed to the vehicle body (); and a second thermal-foam heat insulation layer () provided on a surface of the belt () other than the back surface ().
