Abstract

One-way clutches OWCand OWCare provided on output sides of transmissions TMand TM, and the transmissions TMand TMmechanically lock when the output memberof the one-way clutches OWCand OWCis reversely rotated to the backward side. Clutch mechanisms CLand CLare interposed between the output memberand a driving target memberconnected to a driving wheel. According to uphill start conditions, a controllermakes any one of the clutch mechanisms CLand CLenter ON state when a vehicle-backward-movement prevention control is determined to be required and the controllermakes the clutch mechanisms CLand CLenter OFF state when the vehicle-backward-movement prevention control is determined to be not required. Thus, it is possible to provide a vehicle driving system capable of performing a hill hold assist function with a simple control.
