Abstract
A laundry machine capable of washing or drying laundry and a method for controlling the same are provided. The method includes a first rotation including rotating a stationary drum in a first rotating direction by a predetermined angle within180 degrees, and a second rotation including rotating the drum, in a direction opposite to the first rotating direction, at least one revolution.
