Abstract
A projector that can solve a problem in which a projection image is disturbed due to deviation of incident positions of projection light to a screen is provided. Projection sectionincludes LD light emission sectionand scanning sectionthat scans light emitted by LD light emission sectionand projects the scanned light to the rear plane side of the screen. Control sectioncontrols an amount of light emission of the light and a scanning angle of scanning sectionbased on an image signal so as to cause projection sectionto project an image corresponding to the image signal to the screen. Control sectioncorrects an orientation of projection light corresponding to each pixel of the image projected from projection sectionbased on a refractive index of the light transmission member and a scanning angle of scanning sectionso as to correct an incident position of the projection light on the screen.
