Abstract
A variable-size induction heating plate includes a plurality of windings () arranged in a cooking surface. The heating plate includes two sets () of a plurality of windings arranged side-by-side, each set () of windings being adapted in such a way as to form a heating plate, and control elements () which are adapted in such a way as to control the operation of the sets () both in an independent manner and a synchronous manner. Each set of windings is fed by a single current generator (). The inventive heating plate can be used in an induction cooking surface.
