A halogen-terminated sulfur-containing polymer is represented by:X—(R—S)—R—Xwherein R is an ether bond-containing alkyl group having 3 to 26 carbon atoms, X is a halogen atom, n is an integer of 1 to 200, and r has an average of 1 to 5.
