Abstract
Methods for the evolution of NADPH specific ketol-add reductoisomerase enzymes to acquire NADH specificity are provided. Specific mutant ketol-acid reductoisomerase enzymes isolated fromthat have undergone co-factor switching to utilize NADH are described.
