Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of an adaptive protective textile () in sheet metalforming, comprising non-woven material which is draped over the active surfaces of the sheet metalforming tool (), wherein the surfaces of the sheet metal () are protected from contact with the surfaces of the tool () and the need for lubricant is eliminated.
