Abstract

A lens cleaner () cleans a pickup lens () within an optical disk device (). The lens cleaner () includes a disk portion () and a grip () provided at the rear end thereof. A user inserts the lens cleaner () into a slot () of the optical disk device () with the grip () holding with a hand () to thereby load the lens cleaner () into the interior of the optical disk device. When the user turns the lens cleaner () right and left with the grip () holding, a lens surface is cleaned by a cleaning member upheaving on a bottom surface of the disk portion ().
