Abstract
Front side framesof a vehicle are each vertically connected through a corresponding one of joint membersto a cross memberconfigured to support a suspension arm below the front side frame. The joint membersare each coupled to a back end of a corresponding one of extension frames. This allows the front side framesand the cross memberto share the load experienced by the extension framesin a frontal collision of the vehicle.
