Abstract

An amplification optical fiber with an optical component capable of efficiently absorbing pumping light and a fiber laser device including the same are provided. An amplification optical fiber with an optical component in a fiber laser deviceincludes: an amplification optical fiberhaving a coredoped with an active element and a cladthrough which pumping light for amplifying light to be amplified propagating through the corepropagates; and an optical componentincluding at least one optical fibertohaving a first end coupled to a portion of the cladand a second end coupled to at least another portion of the cladat one endof the amplification optical fiber
