Abstract
A fluorine-modified lithium manganese-based ABOspinel cathode material is provided. Furthermore, a lithium or lithium ion rechargeable electrochemical cell is provided incorporating fluorine-modified lithium manganese-based ABOspinel cathode material in a positive electrode. In addition, a process for preparing a stable fluorine-modified lithium manganese-based ABOspinel cathode material is provided.
