Abstract
The backlight device () of the present invention is provided with: an LED (); an LED substrate () on which the LED () is mounted; a reflective sheet () that reflects light from the LED (), has a lens insertion hole () into which the LED () is inserted, and is arranged so as to cover the mounting surface () of the LED () on the LED substrate (); a first light-reflecting layer () that is formed in at least the portion of the mounting surface () of the LED substrate () that is inside the lens insertion hole (), and that reflects light from the LED (); and a second light-reflecting layer () that is arranged in at least the portion of the mounting surface () of the LED substrate () that is inside the lens insertion hole (), has a light reflectance different from that of the first light-reflecting layer (), and is formed to have a shape partially covering the first light-reflecting layer ().
