Abstract
In an organic EL display device (), an insulating layer () includes a first insulating film () and a second insulating film () provided thereabove, a plurality of upper electrodes () are each provided to cover a corresponding one of a plurality of organic EL layers (), and a reflection film () is provided between the first insulating film () and the second insulating film (), corresponding to a region N other than the a light emission region. The reflection film () reflects toward a sealing substrate () a portion of light generated in each organic EL layer () which is diffused into the region N other than the light emission region so that the portion of the light is transmitted through a separation wall portion () and the sealing substrate () to be viewed as an image on the sealing substrate.
