Abstract
Inhibitors of cPLAα expression are used in the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions for the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation and for the treatment of cancer; the inhibitors are selected from cPLAα-specific ribozymes, RNA sequences usable for RNA-interference of the cPLAα gene, and antisense oligonucleotides directed against cPLAα.
