Abstract
An oil strainer is provided with a tube () for allowing oil to flow therethrough, a mesh () mounted to one end () of the tube (), a protector () connected to said end () of the tube () so as to cover the mesh (), and a bracket () for fixing the tube () to a surrounding member mounted around the oil strainer (). The bracket () has a staking section () for staking the protector () and the tube () together. The above structure enhances productivity of the oil strainer and reduces costs of the oil strainer.
