Abstract
A pressure relief valvehaving small dimensions and generating a high flow rate comprises an annular channelbetween the pressure medium inletand the pressure medium outlet, the channel acting on a sealing conemade of a special plastic material at the upper end of the closing unitin case of pressure peaks such that the same is lifted out of the sealing seatagainst the force of the valve spring. An embodiment is also possible in which the corresponding sealing ringsmust be passed over. The inner boreof the pressure relief valvehas a stepped wall, so that a differential pressure relieving the valve springis generated.
