Abstract

In application testing and debugging processes, it is necessary to change, rebuild and test code. Thus, to speed the testing and debugging process, the process of retrieving application change lists, rebuilding the application, executing the application and recording application performance metrics may be automated. Additionally, through the use of environment independent metrics, application performance can be better evaluated for a wider range of hypothetical hardware configurations than tradition metrics which are highly dependent on the environment in which the test is running.
