Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for leveraging recommendations to determine whether to download certain application updates. According to certain aspects, an electronic device retrieves () a recommendation for an update to an application installed on the electronic device. The electronic device annunciates () an indication of the recommendation and receives () an instruction to download the update from an application server. Further, the electronic device requests () the update from the application server, receives () the update from the application server, and installs () the update on the electronic device.
