Abstract
The planar inverted-F antenna for multi-band operation is compact while achieving good decoupling performance between feed ports for different frequency bands. The antenna has a ground plane (); a radiating element having substantially a U-shape; first and second shorting elements () located at a first corner () of the radiating element () or adjacent area thereof; and first and second feed ports (P, P) electrically connected to the radiating element.
