Abstract

A conical roller bearing device includes: a conical roller bearing that includes an inner ring () that has an outer raceway surface on its outer peripheral surface, an outer ring () that has an inner raceway surface on its inner peripheral surface, a retainer (), and a plurality of conical rollers that are rollably arranged between the outer raceway surface of the inner ring () and the inner raceway surface of the outer ring () and that are respectively accommodated in pockets formed in the retainer (); and a pressing mechanism that presses the retainer () in a direction to reduce gaps between the conical rollers and the outer raceway surface of the inner ring () and gaps between the conical rollers and the inner raceway surface of the outer ring () along center axes of the inner ring () and outer ring ().
