Abstract
The invention relates to a scraping device () for removing objects from a floor surface () of a rotary milking platform (). The scraping device () includes a scraper () configured to come into contact with and move an object on the floor surface () of the rotary milking platform () during rotation, and a suspension device selectively supporting the scraper (). The suspension device selectively supports the scraper () in each of i) a first position adjacent to the floor surface () of the rotary milking platform () and ii) a second position in which the scraper () is pressed against the floor surface () with a first force. The suspension device is configured to move the scraper () from the first position to the second position when the object on the floor surface () hits the scraper () during rotation of the rotary milking platform ().
