Fuel is fed from a fuel tankserved also for a diesel engine(engine) to the burnerthrough a feed pipe, and excess fuel is returned to the fuel tankthrough a return pipe. The fuel is periodically circulated between the burnerand the fuel tankthrough the feed and return pipesandunder a condition of ambient air temperature during vehicle travel being at or below a predetermined temperature.
