Abstract

Provided is a terminal that achieves appropriate handover control even in a case where a cell group in which downstream communication is performed by coordination between a plurality of cells is included in a communication system. According to the terminal (), a CoMP quality calculation unit () calculates a comprehensive quality value for a group to be quality calculated on the basis of a reference signal transmitted from the group to be quality calculated, and, when the comprehensive quality value calculated exceeds a CoMP threshold, a measurement control unit () transmits to the communicating cell the quality of the reference signal transmitted from at least one cell of the plurality of cells included in the group to be quality calculated.
