Abstract

The present invention relates to a molding material comprising an unsaturated polyester resin and microfibrillated plant fibers, the microfibrillated plant fibers comprising cellulose and hemicellulose, and having a specific surface area of 5 to 20 m/g; a method of producing the molding material; a molded article obtained by curing the molding material; and a method of producing an unsaturated polyester resin molded article comprising microfibrillated plant fibers.
