Abstract
The invention relates to an RFID reader having a transmitting antenna () and a receiving antenna (), wherein the transmitting antenna is located a first distance () from the receiving antenna, wherein the transmitting antenna has transmitting antenna coils () situated in a first plane (), and wherein the receiving antenna has receiving antenna coils () situated in a second plane (), and having means () for positioning an RFID document at a position located a second distance () from the transmitting antenna, wherein the transmitting antenna is situated between the receiving antenna and the position.
