Abstract
An abrasive article including a bonded abrasive body having abrasive particles contained within a bond material, the bond material including a vitreous material formed from a mixture having aluminum oxide (AlO), bismuth oxide (BiO), and boron oxide (BO), and wherein the mixture includes an amount (wt %) of aluminum oxide less than an amount (wt %) of bismuth oxide and the amount (wt %) of aluminum oxide is less than an amount (wt %) of boron oxide.
