Abstract

An object of the present invention is to configure a lighting device to discriminate the front and back sides of a substrate at low costs. In the lighting device of the present invention, a diffuser plateas an optical memberincludes: a light-transmissive substrate; an optical patternformed on the substrateand applying an optical action to light; and a discrimination patternconfigured to discriminate between a first position (normal position) of the substrateand a second position (non-normal position) of the substratereversed from the first position, formed on a first planethat is a surface of the substrateon which the optical patternis formed, and made of the same material as that of the optical pattern
